Job Description:
A Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) at Amazon is a developer with the primary responsibility of writing frameworks and tools to test products. It is a very unique and challenging role and provides immense opportunity to design and develop wide-reaching tools
Responsibilities :
1. Design and build the automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycles
2. Utilize innovative test technologies to develop a product’s testing strategy

4. Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionality of services to as a prequel to automation
Desired Profile :
1. Excellent programming skills in either C, C++ or Java
2. Strong fundamentals in core Computer Science areas like Data Structures and Algorithms.
3. Creatively use their tech skills to solve business problems
4. Linux system development experience is a plus.
Skills Required :
1. Multitask
2. Quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements.
3. Learn new systems.
4. Create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems.
5. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter.
