Job Description:

1. The Technical Consultant determines how to implement the client's business needs (requirements) using technology solutions.
2. The consultant takes technical responsibility to ensure the solution is fit for purpose - considering and evaluating alternative options.
3. The consultant provides solution planning, design, integration, operating system migrations and implementation that may be independent of particular vendor products.
4. The consultant provides project leadership when interfacing with clients and will be involved with Sales, Planning, Delivery, and Support.
5. The practitioner provides consultation, proposals, and pilots, proofs of concepts and technical qualification of third-party vendors.
6. The technical consultant performs these functions as a specialist in one or more of the primary technology areas.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in analysis of customer requirements resulting in a proposed solution
2. Participate in reviews with the customer of the requirements and proposed solution
3. Assist in the creation of a detailed design that accomplishes the proposed solution in an efficient and effective way Assist in the documentation of test cases (unit level and integration level)
4. Programming assignments
5. Testing assignments
6. Support assignments (defect resolution)

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
2. Previous exposure to C#/.Net/SQL Server programming
3. Good oral/written communication skills for conversing directly with NCR customers Preferred Requirements
4. 3.0 GPA, 3.5 in Major Degree from a school with a strong reputation for Computer Science
5. Job history includes programming or software development-related role
6. Previous exposure to MS Visual Studio development environment
